Festival En Trans·e 2026 : un week-end pour chérir les transidentités !

After a successful first edition on January 24, 25 and 26, 2025 at Arches Citoyennes, the En Trans·e festival returns for a second edition on May 29, 30 and 31, 2026! Three days of exploration to embrace the act of transition to another genre through a multitude of media - art installation, reading, performance, cabaret, sound, graphic design.

Each highlight of the festival is themed around a specific event:

Getting Well - May 29, 2026 from 6pm to 11pm @ La Bulle

A space dedicated to those sometimes rendered invisible within the LGBTQI+ community (people experiencing precarious situations, exiles, people of color, trans people, people living with HIV), La Bulle is a vital refuge for our communities, founded by seven key organizations in the queer activist landscape. They are hosting En Trans•e for a suspended “bubble of care,” an intimate format where we talk about sharing, learning about ourselves and our peers, accepting help and support, and knowing where to find it.

The program includes: short film screenings, roundtables, and an electronic music happy hour

Mobilize - May 30, 2026 from 7 PM to 1:30 AM @ La Mutinerie

The legendary queer feminist bar, La Mutinerie, is one of those institutions that never gives up, a true bastion of activism within our communities. Inspiring in its tenacity and the incredible force it unites, La Mut' will become, for one night only, a seething cauldron of righteous anger, constructive resistance, and a space for reflection on the forms our activism can take, all while channeling our energy into some high-energy music.

Celebrate yourself - May 31, 2026 from 2 PM to midnight @ A La Folie

The grand finale of En Trans•e's triptych couldn't have found a better home than A La Folie, a cornerstone of Parisian queer nightlife. It feels like home, a space where we can inhabit our pride, our joys, our dances, and our most beautiful creations. A place synonymous with the uninhibited expression of our genders, for a moment of shared euphoria.

The event is free to attend, but donations on site are encouraged for those who can. This event is open to all; any oppressive behavior will not be tolerated and will result in exclusion.
