Paris Pride 2026: one month to go for the queerest weekend of the year

The countdown has started. In exactly one month, Paris transforms for the Pride March called "Marche des Fiertés" LGBTQIA+ weekend. From Friday June 26 to Sunday June 28, 2026, the city hosts one of the largest gatherings in Europe, and queer.paris lists over 40 events so you don't miss a thing.

The Pride March: the heart of the weekend

On Saturday June 27, 2026, the Pride March LGBTQIA+ Paris / Île-de-France takes to the streets. Organised for over 25 years by Inter-LGBT, a federation of around sixty non-profit associations, the March is the largest LGBTQIA+ gathering in France. It brings together 500,000 people each year according to the organisers, from the Paris region, the rest of France and abroad.

The official route and rally theme will be announced on June 5 at marchedesfiertes.org. What is already confirmed: a free Grand Podium at the end of the route, from 5pm to 10pm, over 6 hours of live music, performances and activist speeches in front of more than 50,000 people.

More than a parade, the March is a political act: it carries demands for equal rights, against LGBTphobia, against violence and invisibilisation. Floats, chants, associations, unions, collectives, political parties and allied citizens come together in an atmosphere that is both festive and engaged. Rooted in the Stonewall riots (1969) and the first French March in 1981, it brings together over 90 organisations every year.
