Midnight Shift is an event conceived by La Bouche Cabaret at the initiative of Mascare, who also curates the event. The first edition took place in June 2026 at Cabaret Sauvage with Soa from Muse, Bili Bellegarde, Grand Soir, Mascare, Cheetah, Amina, Roxane Showbiz, Joli Younès, Jay Moves, La Tempête, and Androkill. Midnight Shift pays homage to club music, reminiscent of the 1970s, when listening to mixtapes was impossible: you had to experience the club to discover the music. The event creates unique moments where original performances, electrifying mixes, and an enthusiastic, engaged audience converge. Performance sets take center stage, with guests appearing one after another, sometimes spontaneously.

MIDNIGHT SHIFT - NEW SEASON

This year, Midnight Shift takes up residence at Bal Chavaux in Montreuil. Conceived as a bimonthly event, from midnight to 5 a.m., Midnight Shift aims this season, in the context of the presidential elections, to pay particular attention to organizations working within the queer community. The profits generated by each event will be donated to an activist organization. The first announced dates are September 25, 2026, and November 6, 2026.

LA BOUCHE CABARET

Founded in February 2022 and self-managed by four artists - Mascare, Soa de Muse, Bili Bellegarde and Grand Soir - La Bouche is a queer cabaret with multiple and complementary identities, born in a concrete basement near the Porte de Clignancourt, in Paris.

A proud heir to the queer and underground cabaret scene, the show is multidisciplinary, festive, and subversive, blending piano, voice, balaclavas, LGBT archives, spoken word, neon lights, lip-syncing, and personal narratives. From Monique Wittig to Céline Dion and Sexy Sushi, by way of Michel Berger and Malavoi, the performances are constantly evolving according to current events, tributes, and each artist's unique inspirations; yet, all remain linked by a common essence.

common: a sexy, punk, pop, sincere, poetic and always political imagination.

Cabaret La Bouche positions itself as a joyful and vibrant archive of collective histories, driven by the need, duty, and desire to transmit the memories of intersectional struggles and minority rights. On stage, the artists sing and speak about yesterday and tomorrow, about lesbians, racism, queerness, social class, and systemic violence; but above all, about hope and love.

With tenderness and sincerity, they invite the audience to catch their breath and reclaim their freedom. It is, in every respect, cathartic.
