- Performance "Marie-Louise is a vampire" by Grace Ohiri and Awori
Grace Seri is an actress and writer. A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Paris in 2017, she has developed a practice at the crossroads of performing arts, film, and literary writing. Recipient of several acting awards, her texts have been published in various literary journals as well as in the book *Sans Grace*, co-written with Kayije Kagame. Selected for the Mains d'Œuvres art center, she is currently developing a three-part narrative project, blending autofiction, investigation, and archival material, in which *Marie-Louise est une vampire* (or how the protector becomes the prey).
Awori is a nomadic musician who has often turned to songwriting to adapt to constantly changing environments. She began her career as a singer and rapper with the group Kami Awori before striking out on her own, collaborating with producers such as Twani, Luvanga, and Baloji. Her passion for the bass guitar blossomed during her studies at the Paris College of Music (IMEP).
Synopsis:
Marie-Louise is a Vampire, a fictional narrative rooted in the intimate, where memory, politics, and unease pile up, collide, rub against each other, and never cease. We follow a woman in limbo, a Black, pregnant journalist, about to leave on assignment, but above all, about to tip over the edge. Between psychiatric interviews, fragmented memories, hallucinatory scenes, and the hyperrealism of everyday life, the story is woven through voice, silences, and rituals.
Marie-Louise collects, absorbs, films, but does not save. She acts like a vampiric figure, not to frighten but to reveal: what has been passed down unspoken, what is kept within the body, what resists language. This text is not a confession. It is a fictional territory, built on trembling, fragmented, yet determined speech. It does not seek to repair. It seeks to evoke feeling.
- Live performance by the duo Coffee Beanz
Coffee Beanz, a French-Senegalese duo, blends rap, soul, and electronic sounds in an experimental atmosphere. Between raw energy and sensitivity, they create an intimate and cosmic universe, exploring musical boundaries with ease.
- DJ set by DJ Rayo
“Noise, sweat, and lots of Lova Lova”
