Nous, sous les couleurs

Nous, sous les couleurs

Wednesday, May 13
06:30 PM - 08:30 PM
Paris Events

Nous, sous les couleurs presents the works created by women accompanied by PASTT , as part of the art therapy workshop led every Wednesday by the artist Lu Guimarães.

These works stem from life journeys marked by multiple experiences: being trans, migrating, living in France, working or having worked in sex. They speak of the body, identity, exile, the relationship with oneself, but also of connections, memories, desires, and ways of rebuilding oneself. While some realities are common—migration, economic, administrative, or residential insecurity, difficulties accessing rights and healthcare, isolation, or discrimination—each work offers an intimate interpretation and conveys a unique perspective, a personal way of having navigated these life experiences, feeling them, transforming them, and sharing them.

The PASTT art therapy workshop is a space for creation, care, trust, and community. It allows each participant to express themselves freely through colors, images, gestures, or words, without having to justify themselves or conform to an expected narrative.

"Nous, sous les couleurs" thus presents sensitive works, both individual and collective. They remind us that these women are creators, thinkers, artists of their own lives, and that they fully contribute to our common spaces, our shared lives, and our community existences.

This exhibition is organised by the Town Hall of the 10th arrondissement on the occasion of the International Day Against LGBTQIA+phobia.

Presentation of PASTT

Founded in 1992, PASTT – Prevention Action Health Work for Trans People – is a community association run by and for trans people. The association supports trans people, sex workers, people living with HIV, undocumented people, and people in precarious situations.

The association supports individuals with health issues, as well as with their social, administrative, and legal procedures: access to rights, regularization, registration of address, housing, and mediation with institutions. PASTT also conducts prevention activities in sexual health, particularly concerning HIV, STIs, testing, and harm reduction.
