At the Sociale Latin Queer dance class at Role Rotation Latin School, roles are neither fixed nor mandatory. Role rotation is possible, available, and celebrated, but everyone dances as they wish. You can lead, follow, switch roles mid-dance… or stay in the role that feels right for you.
Here, leader or follower is not a fixed role. It's a choice. A game. An exploration. The dance floor becomes a space where rules are relaxed, where bodies interact without hierarchy, where dance has no gender. Dance no longer obeys norms; it is lived.
This social space is a queer, safe, and deeply supportive environment, designed for those who want to experience freedom without pressure. Whether you are LGBTQIA+ or an ally, a beginner or experienced, you are welcome as long as respect, listening, and consent guide your actions.
On April 24th, come dance salsa, bachata and kizomba however you want, with whomever you want, in whatever role you want.
We are thrilled to welcome @mikita_bachata for a unique Bachata – Drama Experience workshop 🔥
✨ Who is Mikita?
An international dancer and instructor, Mikita develops a unique approach to bachata, centered on emotion, interpretation and freedom of expression.
With over 25 years of artistic experience and a strong identity built around the concept of “Drama Experience”, she invites dancers to go beyond the steps to tell a story, fully feel the music and make their own style ✨
🌈 Committed to an inclusive vision of dance, she champions a simple idea:
Style has no gender, dance is a space of freedom 💫
This workshop is an invitation to step outside the box and explore your dance in a new way ✨
Or in several.
Or none at all.
Because we dance freely!

Social Latin Queer is an inclusive and welcoming space for Latin social dance (salsa, bachata, kizomba, etc.) that offers a fresh approach to traditional practices by moving beyond gender norms and imposed roles. Inspired in particular by role rotation, it allows everyone to dance freely as a leader, follower, or by alternating between the two, fostering listening, creativity, and equality among partners.
This social space is a queer, safe, and deeply welcoming environment, designed for those who want to dance freely, without pressure. Whether you are LGBTQIA+ or an ally, a beginner or experienced: you are welcome as long as respect, listening, and consent guide your steps.
