Théâtre : La Trilogie du Troisième Type

After exploring gender and the obvious limitations of its demands in *The First Sex, or the Big Scam of Virility* , *The Underwear Party, or the Power Hoax* narrows the focus to the male biological sex to question performance and reveal the virtues of tenderness. *The Glitter of Their Lives, or Peace Moves Out* continues the exploration of the male experience and the zoom effect of the trilogy, through a reflection on testicles and their contents, following the journey of sperm donation.

The Third Type Trilogy is published by L'Harmattan, in the "Theaters" collection directed by Emmanuelle Grivelet-Sonier and Jérôme Martin.

Part 1:
THE FIRST SEX or the big scam of virility

A man offers the fruit of his reflection on masculinity. What does it mean to be a male, a man, a real man? And what about the fake ones in all this, what do we do with them?
The First Sex or the Big Scam of Virility offers an empirical version of Beauvoir's Second Sex , questioning the myth of gender, striving to laugh at everything it implies in order to better free oneself from it.

Sex addiction, body dysmorphic disorder, priapism, the vertigo of andropause or impotence… what if the cornerstone of masculinity were this poor penis, subjected to the impossible standard of its erection? By summoning his therapist, his exes, his mother, his father, and his brother, Mickaël will strive, with no shortage of humor, to grasp the true extent of the nonsense, to thwart the obsession with performance, and to explore the virtues of vulnerability.

The Glitter of Their Lives, or Peace Moves, extends the focus of the Third Type Trilogy . After gender and the penis, Mickaël Délis explores men's semen. From Aristotelian delirium on fluids to new forms of filiation, it is the figure of the father at the foundation of patriarchal excess that is called into question here. On stage, numerous characters surround a son who has lost his father, who donates his sperm at Tenon Hospital, and who absolutely does not want children. A tense atmosphere.
