In Bounce , Sons of Wind let themselves be swept away by the groove, that repetitive movement intimately linked to the music, which makes bodies sway in rhythm. Guided by Lumi Sow, head of the interdisciplinary group founded in 2013, ten performers radiate cohesion and the joy of dancing in a vibrant atmosphere. Their eruptive dance also brings to the forefront the founding values ​​of the hip-hop movement: respect, sharing, and pushing beyond one's limits. Then, whacking star Mounia Nassanagar unveils the mesmerizing arm movements characteristic of this style, born in the Black and Latino LGBT community in Los Angeles in the 1970s. In a cinematic setting where disco and funk rhythms resonate, five dancers deploy the striking expressiveness of their dance, whose intensity recalls the urgency in which whacking emerged. Proof that the legacy of hip-hop dance is very much alive.
